Often referred to as the Model 17, this revolver features a six shot fluted cylinder, double action, square butt K target frame with four screws, pinned barrel, recessed cylinder, click adjustable target rear sight. According to factory letter, this model was shipped from factory April 5th, 1961, no other information. Grips are a latter incorrect style, originally would have worn the diamond checkered Magna walnut grips and now has a set of later silver medallion walnut grips. This early gun has the famous high polish royal blue finish with case colored hammer and trigger. CONDITION: Cylinder has light drag line, hint of wear at muzzle, and a couple of minor handling marks, otherwise near new inside and out. A beautiful revolver in top condition that simply needs a correct pair of grips.
