Factory letter states that this revolver was shipped April 5th, 1930 to Sutcliffe Company, Louisville, Kentucky. Revolver features six shot fluted cylinder, K frame with five screws, Patridge front sight, target adjustable rear sight, round frame, matching numbers on barrel and cylinder, blue finish, case colored hammer and trigger. Wears a pair of pre-war diamond checkered walnut grips, pencil marked to a different gun. CONDITION: Barrel is a pleasing mix of thinning blue turning soft patina with razor sharp legends. Cylinder has a drag line and overall high edge wear. Balance of gun has usual handling marks, nothing serious. Strong bore and smooth as silk action. This gun has seen some use but was well cared for. Pre-War M&P target models are uncommon.
