Records show this letter shipped August 24th, 1958 with no other information available. This revolver was built on the square butt N target frame with pinned barrel, recessed cylinder, five screw, six shot, double action, factory nickel finish, Baughman front sight, target adjustable rear sight, fully matted rib, case colored hammer and trigger, and silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips. Matching serial number on barrel, cylinder and grip. This is a very desirable revolver as Smith & Wesson made very few factory nickel Pre-Model 27s. CONDITION: There is some bubbling of the nickel on front sight and ramp, scattered handling wear and a light drag line. Still retains a minimum of 95% factory nickel. Strong case colors. Excellent grips. Mirror bore.
