According to the factory letter, this scarce 3" factory nickel revolver was shipped November 9th, 1973 to Cheshire & Perez of Monrovia, California with red ramp front sight, white outline rear sight, case colored target hammer and wide target trigger, nickel finish and smooth walnut round butt grips. The shipment was one of eight guns marked for the California Justice Department; marked would mean in records as the gun itself is not marked. The present grips are checkered. The Model 19 is referred to as the Combat Magnum with the rare round butt K frame, three screw, rare factory nickel finish, scarce 3" barrel, Baughman quick-draw front sight with red insert, and silver medallion Magna checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Near new inside and out with ghost drag line; never fired. Comes in matching grey two piece box with tools and paperwork.
