Gun (A) features ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, six shot, double action, blued finish, early Python style fully checkered walnut silver medallion grips, wide target hammer and non-glare top strap. Stamped "OFFICER'S MODEL MATCH" on left side of barrel. CONDITION: Retains 85% original blue. Excellent grips with a few flat spots. Strong, clean bore. Used but well cared for. Gun (B) features the black composite grips with the Red Eagle emblem that was used until Sturm died, when they were switched to black. Alexander Sturm died November 16th, 1951, as a result, sometime between serial No. 30000 to 43000, the logo was changed from red to black to honor his death. This gun was made during its fourth year of production. Features blued finish and black composite grips. The aluminum magazine has the red logo with "R" and no "S", made between Sturm's death and the black logo with the "S" omitted. CONDITION: was used but well cared for, retaining approximately 98% original blue. Fine bore and action.
