Standard carbine features 1884 dated block, non-dated US eagle sideplate, trapdoor buttplate, 1884 rear sight, saddle ring and bar, post front sight, and grooved trigger. Sharp "SWP 1886" Sam Porter cartouche on left side with script "P" on wrist. CONDITION: Traces of color on block with soft blue drifting brown patina on balance of metal surface. Wood is excellent with just some minor handling marks. Bore shows strong lands and grooves with some residue and light powder rings. Sharp and right as rain 1884 Carbine.
