28" Mono-bloc barrels fitted with matted game rib are marked "Antonio Zoli & C" on left. Barrel flats are stamped with 1977 Italian nitro proofs. Coin finished action is fitted with back spring sidelocks having round bodied serpentine hammers. Action and locks are engraved with geometric borders with some scroll on top of action. Fine pin nipples, screws, and double triggers are gold-plated. Lightly figured, but relatively plain, European walnut round knob pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/4" over composition Zoli buttplate. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching splinter forend has Anson type release. CONDITION: Excellent, very close to new, possibly unfired since proof, with only some handling and assembly marks on all surfaces. Most notably some light dings and a fairly heavy dent along toe line, and on lower left side of butt. Bores are excellent. Mechanically excellent. MGM 61.
