Standard rifle features full octagon barrel, full magazine, 1876 Winchester ladder rear sight, blued finish, walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel is a lovely, homogeneous mix of blue-brown patina overall giving a very smooth appearance. Razor sharp legends. Tube is brown-grey patina with age spotting. Frame is brown patina with scattered salt and pepper texture and some light wipe-on finish. No visible case colors. Dust cover is grey patina. Wood was refinished at one time, with numerous dings and is slightly shy to metal. Fine action. Visible rifling but with residue and thinning. Handsome representative example of the large Centennial rifle.
