This Stevens 44-1/2 Pope Special Model by CPA Arms (Paul Shuttleworth). Exquisite stock wood with one small, easily fixed, dent on right side. No. 4 half octagon barrel. Fitted with a reproduction Pope palm rest and Pope lever. Drilled and tapped for a scope with scope blocks. No iron sights have been fitted to this rifle, although there is a dovetail present in the barrel. CONDITION: Wood is excellent with a small dent, shy to metal. Otherwise appears virtually unused with some minor scattered handling marks. Fine action, good bore. TR
