Marked under the forearm "203", dated 5-23-76, caliber .32-40, 1:16 twist. Full round 30" No. 5 weight breech-loading only barrel, drilled and tapped for a scope. Globe front sight, base only fitted to the tang. Stevens 44-1/2 action, fitted with double set triggers. Lever has a wood insert, typically found on a Model 51. Brass buttplate is unplated. Forearm is the Stevens one screw style. CONDITION: Action and lever show a majority of its original bright case colors. Buttstock shows little wear and is believed to be newly made,with a few seasoning cracks and new checkering. Forearm has possibly original checkering but has been refreshed. Barrel bluing shows some very minor scratches. Fine action, excellent bore. Should make an excellent shooter. TR
