1906 Unit marked Navy Luger. Features include long frame, round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, two position adjustable 100-200 meter rear sight on rear toggle link, wide grip safety, walnut checkered grips, and an eight round detachable box magazine. This is an all matching numbered gun except the magazine. CONDITION: Bright and shiny bore with crisp lands and grooves. Walnut grips are minty with sharp checkering showing just a bit of wear. Gun retains approximately 92% of the original rust blue finish and 80% of the original straw color. Gun shows some normal handling marks and edge wear. The original Navy magazine with concentric rings is an early style, with the serial number going length ways and is number 8006. "DWM" in scroll on the center toggle link with the crown "M" proofs on the left side of the receiver. The extractor is marked "Geladen", safety is marked "Gesichert" in the upper position. This is a first issue altered with a W.D. 220. unit mark on the rear grip strap. The unit mark is to Werft zu Danzig or Dockyard Danzig. A rare and highly collectible gun from Imperial Germany.
