Factory research states that rifle serial number 200430 was shipped February 3rd, 1886 as an octagon rifle with set trigger, checkered stock, pistol grip, and case hardened, which is how it remains today. Returned for repair October 17th, 1906. Features standard sporting Winchester sights and full magazine. CONDITION: Gun has been fully restored. Barrel and tube retain approximately 95% of the expertly reapplied finish with razor sharp edges and legends. Frame, hammer and lever retain the majority of their reapplied case colors. The refinished stock has razor sharp checkering, fiery grain triple X wood and beautiful case colors on butt. Beautifully restored .44 caliber with great bore and action.
