28 - 1/2" octagon barrel is marked "F. L. KLEINKALIBERBUCHSE" and with caliber on top left flat. Top flat is matted, and rear portion longitudinally dovetailed for open sight (not present). Blued action has some light scroll engraving. Replacement tang sight is present, along with a home made adjustment key. Stump figured European walnut steel capped pistol grip buttstock measures 13 - 3/4" over old red rifle pad over 1/4" spacer fitted to original curve. Matching large forend has schnabeled tip. Weight: 8 lbs. 1 oz. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel and action retain approximately 85 - 90% original blue with some oxidation splotches and scratches. Stocks retain most of their finish, considerably darkened around interface with action, and with some old cracks. Bore appears to be excellent, although dirty.
