Stocks configured for international competition are of nicely fiddle figured American walnut and feature large right hand cheekpiece. Point pattern checkering at grip and on various pads of long forend. A steel buttplate marked "J. OBERLIES DAYTON O" is fitted. Stocks have various decorations including a silver maple leaf at center of forend, an American shield on bottom of grip, and an inlet silver map of Ohio on cheekpiece engraved "H. H. Jacobs" with a star and "Dayton". CONDITION: Excellent, retaining nearly all fine custom finishes on all surfaces. Bore is excellent. Mechanically fine. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Francis Brown. MGM 120.
