Created by Forrest "Frosty" Wyrick, this erector set model was first displayed at the A.C. Gilbert Heritage Society National Convention in New Haven, Conn. in 1997. By coincidence, the model was completed just months before the release of James Cameron's "Titanic". Rumor has it, Wyrick used the model to gain free entry to see the film and from there it gained nationwide attention and as of 2012 had been displayed in over 30 states. Showing a ribbon from A.C. Gilbert Heritage Society 8th Annual July 24, 1999 Best Of Show. Lights throughout are in working order and the model shows only minor paint loss.
