Model 6 - 1/2 Rigby with stag on left and bear on right and unusual square panels with the rest of the action in well done scroll. Case colored action. Single trigger. Serial number stamped on bottom of the action. Replaced buttstock in the original style with cheeckpiece and checkered pistol grip. Made of very fancy wood. Original Swiss buttplate of brass, nickel plated. Forearm replaced with matching wood to buttstock, also checkered. 30" barrel of number 3 weight with Rigby flats. The end of the barrel has a band of engraving. Fitted with a globe front sight and a Ballard-Vernier rear. Rear sight base has either been shortened or inletted into the metal. CONDITION: Overall condition is very good. No case color remains on the action, no visible pits or corrosion. Traces of nickel remaining on buttplate. Finish on wood has very, very, few minor handling marks. Barrel blue is thinning. Good action with an excellent bore. Very presentable as restored. TR
