This lovely single shot rifle features a half octagon to round barrel with razor sharp edges and legends. Manufactured with no front sight. Barrel is mounted with sight blocks and rings. Deluxe triple X perch belly walnut stock with flared pistol grip and Stevens gutta percha buttplate. Double set trigger, case colored frame, deluxe checkered Schnabel walnut forend. Sports a period J. Stevens 3/4" tube scope No. 470. CONDITION: 98% blue on barrel. 98% fire blue on block. 95% beautiful Stevens case colors on frame. Generous case colors on lever. Wood is near mint with a beautiful finish. Light age freckling on upper tang. Clean optics. Strong, clean rifled bore.
