Case colored non engraved Stevens 44-1/2 action. Action face is not marked. Fitted with double set triggers and has a correct lever. Straight grip stock is checkered. Case colored rifle buttplate. Straight grip checkered wood stock. Stevens forearm of the one screw design, nicely checkered, minor bumps and handling marks, but overall excellent. Barrel is serial numbered to a different action, measures 26", number 3 weight, half octagon, with a dovetail in the octagon section. Globe front sight and a Lyman tang sight. CONDITION: In excess of 90% of case colors on action remain in bright condition. Lever shows no case color. Buttplate showing majority of color. Buttstock is in excellent condition with minor handling marks. Forearm has very small crack on the left side at the top. Action is good, bore is excellent. A very presentable rifle with desirable set triggers. TR
