This extremely handsome and robust custom rifle sports an original Mauser action with a new custom barrel. Barrel is profusely engraved approximately 3" on either side of sling swivel. Has a ramp front sight with engraved hood and base. Floorplate and trigger guard are engraved with gold outline and a solid gold ram's head on trigger guard. All of the visible stock screws are engraved. There is an engraved trapdoor pistol grip, custom rear sling swivel, fully checkered engraved bolt, and fully checkered trigger. Bolt has the worm finish found on custom rifles to retain oil. Buttplate has trapdoor, blued, engraved, with engraved screws. Single engraved stock reinforcing bolt. Stock features black forend piece, has been checkered in the diamond skip style of Weatherby; rollover cheek piece, deluxe exotic wood. Topped with Tilden mounts and Leupold variable scope. CONDITION: Aside from a couple handling spots on the wood, rifle does not appear to have been used. Near mint bore and action. Beautiful, custom Mauser in classic style with extremely tasteful engraving.
