Pre-War 1934 manufacture featuring checkered walnut pistol grip stock with steel checkered butt plate plastic pistol grip cap and ebony forend tip. Factory fitted with deluxe quick detachable swivels. 24 inch tapered round barrel with integral ramp front sight with Lyman 17A globe. Drilled and tapped on barrel and fitted with period 10X Unertl scope with external adjustments and rebounding spring. Fitted with Lyman side mounted receiver sight and bolt is properly numbered to rifle. CONDITION: Good, bore is very fine with sharp rifling. The barrel and receiver retain over 90% original factory applied finish with losses at muzzle and high points of receiver edges. The trigger guard and bottom plate have almost 60% blue finish with losses at trigger guard and plate from use. The stock is very good with good checkering most all original varnish. A number of small bruises and scrapes are present from field use but no cracks or wood material loss is evident. The scope operates properly and is complete with its screw in lens covers. Fitted with a leather lace on check rest that does not permanently effect the stock in any way.
