A classic automaton with great appeal. The Pierrot seated upon the one end of the moon plays several tunes to the crescent moon. The moon itself has an opening and closing mouth and an eye that wanders about. The Pierrot has bisque hands, glass eyes and a tongue that darts in and out while playing the tunes. His head also turns from right to left. There is some older papier mache restoration to the moon. The figure appears to be in all original condition. Overall very good condition.
