Octagonal steel barrel with brass front sight. Patent breech and barrel are profusely decorated with scroll engraving. Swivel-type steel ramrod mounted on steel rib on underside of forend. Internal lock mechanism with engraved percussion hammer on right side. Silver-plated stock of brass, decorated with spiraling scrolls and panels of fine checkering. Left side mounted with steel belt hook. Butt has a small door for spare nipples. CONDITION: Good to very good, as refinished. Stock has been re-silvered at some time, but is very well done. Mechanism functions well. Steel components have some of re-applied blue finish in protected areas and show some wear to engraving. An attractive all-metal pistol.
