Lot consists of (A) Blue web cartridge belt is filled with period .45-70 cartridges and sports a brass 7th Cavalry buckle that is stamped: Military Arms Equipment & Ordnance Stores-M. Hartley Co. 313 &315 Broadway New York NY. CONDITION: Good, with a pleasing patina to the brass and some stains to the fabric. The US holster is marked Troop K 7th Cav. as well as 18 Cav in script along with 55. Rear stamped "ROCK". (B) Holster was made for the Colt series of swing out US revolvers that came out in 1889. This is a type 2 with no tie down and enlarged loop for wide Mills belt. CONDITION: Good, complete, with some crazing to leather. Stamps are legible. Arsenal stamp of reverse is very faint. Nice 1890's set for Trapdoor and Colt used in Cuba and Banana Wars.
