27" Chopper lump barrels with slightly raised matted rib are engraved with makers name and "EIBAR", and steel type on tops. Barrel flats are stamped with Spanish nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. Importers name (Woodcock Hill) is on bottom of right barrel. Barrels are fitted with H&H type self-opening assist spring. Case hardened sidelock action features automatic safety, hidden third fastener, side clips, disc set strikers, double triggers (front articulated), and H&H type hand detachable locks. Action is engraved with typical English style rose and scroll. Makers name is on bottom of action. Blue top lever and single beaded trigger guard are engraved to match. Well marbled and slightly stump figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 15-1/8" over dark brown leather covered pad. Stock is classically styled with drop points, point pattern checkering on semi diamond hand, and vacant silver oval. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. Gun comes with green canvas and tan leather trimmed case by Brady. Interior is lined in burgundy cloth, and has Thomas Bland & Sons label in lid. CONDITION: Excellent with evidence of modern field use with marks and some light scratches as well as light silvering on metal surfaces. There are some light scratches and added oil on stocks. Mechanically fine. Case is fine. MGM 108
