Manufactured by Waffenfabrik Loewe in Berlin, Germany. The System Borchardt C93 pistol was one of the first successful magazine fed semi-automatic pistols sold commercially. It was also the first semi-automatic pistol to be tested by the U.S. Military. BUG proofed on the left side of barrel. BU proofed of left side of receiver. D.R.P. No. 75837 on center toggle link. Waffenfabrik Loewe Berlin over the chamber. Serial number on trigger, stock lug, and at the magazine well on the frame. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 90% of the original high polish rust blue finish with a few spots of freckling scattered across the gun. This gun shows just a few handling and storage marks. Finely checkered wood grips with a distinctive boarder. Matching eight round detachable magazine, and two non-matching numbered magazines. One is number 645 the other is numbered 674. Fair bore with just a hint of frosting. Comes with a non-matching numbered wood stock that is number 524. Cheek piece is non-matching numbered 824. Incomplete wood magazine cleaning kit. Comes in an original leather covered Borchardt case with the original green felt lining. Leather carry handle is missing. A very high condition and desirable gun in an original case.
