Lot consists of: (A) Small hunting pouch with diminutive York County powder horn and fringed front flap. CONDITION: Strap has been replaced. Some losses to fringes and minor deterioration on back. Horn is excellent. (B) 18th century double cavity hunting pouch with contemporary strap, contemporary touchole pick, and period patch knife. CONDITION: Leather on pouch is brittle with crazed overall patina. Some period repairs and minor tears. (C) Pipe tomahawk with contemporary haft; 18th century. CONDITION: Head appears to have been dug and appears to have a heavy, pitted surface overall and a dark patina. Tiger maple haft is contemporary and in excellent condition. A few loose accessories included: small period antler powder measure, small dug out bug with sliding wooden lid, and a period skinning knife. (D) 24 hole American Militia waist cartridge box of black leather and contoured form. There is no evidence of straps or belt loops. Clasp on lid is absent. Probably circa 1780 to 1820. CONDITION: Leather is pliable and retains a crazed surface overall. Lock has one minor chip.
