Made in 1926 with Parker "Special Steel" barrels, this gun appears all original and field used. Made on a #1 frame with unstruck barrel weight of 3lbs 3oz. The barrels have a full length matted top rib with steel front bead. Gun features double triggers, auto ejectors, and auto safety. The capped pistol gripped buttstock is checkered in two point pattern through the wrist and terminates in a hardened Jostam brand pad. The splinter forend with Deeley release is checkered in two point diamond pattern with steel tip. Action is engraved in typical PHE pattern with light scroll engraving and wave pattern around edges. CONDITION: Very good, as found. Barrels retain about 80% original blue with some light handling marks and hunting scratches. Splinter forend with numerous hunting mars, none of which are significant, and minor scratching retain about 70% of its original finish, with some finish added over scratches, particularly on left side, checkering lightly thinned. Action retains about 45% of its original case colors, quite nice on sides, toned on bottom. Buttstock retains about 75% of its original finish with thinning and spotting towards pad and in need of some finish for touch up, and there is a nickel sized stain on the left side of the stock towards butt under the finish in need of fixing as well. Trigger guard retains about 1/4 of its original blue. Screw slots are still relatively tight and the gun is overall as found. Bores are bright and shiny with a couple of light pings towards muzzles noted. Mechanics are fine. With some very minor restorative efforts, this would be a killer (and scarce!) little Parker suitable for any day in the field or the gun room!
