Eduard Stellmacher, Large Seahorse Urn Vase with Starfish Handles. The iridescent gold body with traces of blue, green, and gold. Austria, circa 1905. Similar to item 413 in "House of Amphora", page 229. Impressed "Stellmacher" on the side of the vase. There is a hairline along rim approximately 6" long, and it is professionally stabilized inside of lip. Numerous light touch marks in the body of vase. 17-3/4"H x 11"D.
