Proofed in 1982, this dainty little gun has 26" barrels with a concave tapered top rib and is engraved in script "Abbiatico and Salvinelli" on top of left tube. Barrel flats with serial number, Italian nitro proof stamp, and makers name along with rear lug with is marked with makers names of Dante, Mario, Poli, Remo, and Tony. Made with single non-selective trigger, auto-ejectors, and non-auto safety. The slim splinter forend is checkered in point patter with diamond at center and has an Anson type pushbutton release. The straight grip buttstock, of nicely figured straight grained European walnut, is checkered in two point pattern through the wrist with tear drops carved behind locks. It also has original owners initials near toe of "JEB" and terminates with a nicely checkered butt. The coin finished action is lightly scroll engraved on locks and on bottom; left lock is engraved "Abbiatico and Salvinelli." The fences are beautifully sculpted and engraved with relief scroll engraving. Top lever and top tang with light scroll and border engraving as do hammers. Housed in its original light brown leather red felt interior case. CONDITION: Extremely fine. This gun was ordered new by our consignor and has not been fired since he took possession of it. Retains nearly all original coin finish to action with the exception of a small area of discoloration on top tang and on left side of top lever. Ejectors are live. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Barrels retain nearly all of their original blue finish. Stocks are near mint with only minor handling marks. Case is excellent with a few rubs and minor wear to interior. A very pretty and cute little gun!
