An exceptional and beautiful early drop card trade stimulator from 1897. This machine features five drop card reels of miniature playing cards housed in an ornately decorated cast metal cabinet. For a nickel the player can press the lever to make the cards flip. The upper marquee lists payout for winning hands in free drinks. The surface of the machine is polished but traces of oxidation can be seen throughout. This machine has had a later replating. There is a curved crack in the glass of the marquee and also a small crack in the lower coin window. The original cards show some wear and damage. Some of the cards have been taped. CORRECTION: With keys.
