Probably Napoleonic period. Two stage steel barrel with top flat near breech marked "B 106" and left flat marked "Q3GB". Round faced banana lockplate is without any markings. Barrel retains by three iron bands held in place with springs. Iron mounts. Plain walnut stock with cheekpiece cut on top of comb on left side. Left side also branded with large script initials "J.G.K.". Top of wrist behind barrel tang is stamped "G". Complete with original iron ramrod. CONDITION: Very good, overall. All iron retains a grey patina. Lock is in original flintlock configuration. Markings are clear. Stock retains a blonde finish and markings are clear, one period field repair using iron pin at toe, otherwise a few scattered marks from use.
