This Model 1894 Saddle Ring Trapper has a BATF release dated December 5th, 1991 listing the carbine by serial number, model, caliber, and barrel length. Features full round barrel, full magazine, twin bands, post front sight, folding ladder carbine rear sight, saddle ring and stud, walnut stocks, and carbine butt. Forearm measures 7-7/8". All factory legends present and readable. CONDITION: Metal is a mix of gunmetal grey and chocolate patina and freckling. Wood is proud to metal is most places with a few dings but is otherwise nice. Left side of stock has a large letter "L" stamped. Fine action. Strong, well defined rifling. Far above average for a 1894 Trapper.
