Both feature two-stage steel barrels with brass bands at breeches and brass tangs. Flat banana lockplates and cocks both overlaid with brass and engraved with scroll designs. Brass furniture with engraved scrolls and faces on sideplates. Stocked in fruitwood with carved panels around locks, sideplates, and barrel tangs. Ramrods are contemporary replacements. CONDITION: Good, barrels retain a grey patina with scattered grey spotting. Locks are in original flintlock configuration and have some scuffing to brass faces, one top jaw and top jaw screw are period replacements. Brass retains a mellow patina, one trigger guard bow is misshapen. Stocks show scattered age cracks, minor losses, and marks from use. A very attractive and decorative pair of flintlock pistols.
