This incredible shot shell board from Noble of London dates to the turn of the century, has its original stenciled oak frame, inner liner, and every component is intact. This board is undisturbed, all original, wood backed with glass front, and measures 2" deep. It features: five original 12 bore shot shells through its manufacture to include: assembling, heading, regulating and piercing, capping, and a finished cartridge below which is a full cartridge cutaway with viewing portal. Above the shells are stretches of uncut cardboard tubing. This shot shell display is surrounded by all of the manufacturing small parts. Sits on a gray background, and is in near mint untouched condition. There is no fading or inpainting of any kind. The top of the frame is stenciled "Noble Industries Limited" in black, and "London" on the base. It is a fantastic piece and the first of its type we have seen in complete, near mint condition, and even has the wavy handblown glass. This would be an amazing piece in the gunroom of any European shotgun collector. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Nathan Posner, former owner of the San Francisco Gun Exchange and most recently on display at the Buffalo Bill Historical Museum of Cody, Wyoming. NOTE: Comes with custom handbuilt wooden crate for shipping and/or transportation.
