Twin round barrels separated by solid rib with front post sight and rear ramp sight mounted on top. Rib stamped "GW BOWLBY / PONTIAC" for G.W. Bowlby of Pontiac, Michigan who operated between the years 1826 and 1863. Twin back action percussion locks, unmarked. Brass trigger and furniture including small two piece patchbox. Walnut half stock complete with replaced wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Fair. Barrels retains a dark, heavy brown patina with some heavy corrosion at breech. Locks retain a dark patina and function properly. Hammer on right side is replaced. Furniture retains a mellow patina and stock shows scattered marks from use, age cracks, and minor chipping along barrels.
