Interesting well built combination shotgun over rifle. 23-3/4 inch matted solid rib barrel with brass bead front and automatic flip up rear sight on the matte rib, being set up for a set of claw bases at the rear. Barrels with sideclips and light engraving around the breech. Caliber and barrel maker markings on the bottom of the gun. Action is engraved with woods scene of three game birds (pheasants?) in the woods on the right, a doe and stag in the woods on the left, and scroll and floral patterns elsewhere. Top tang with safety and barrel selector, Greener cross-bolt design, and side safety. Buttstock checkered in 5 point pattern with hard rubber grip cap and lined hard rubber buttplate. Splinter forearm with Deeley release is checkered in point pattern. Buttstock with cheekpiece and gun is set up for sling swivels. CONDITION: Good with light restoration. Barrels with about 60% original blue remaining with areas of pinprick pitting and spotting. The frame shows a cleaned tone gray overall, with light spotting. The stock is good as refurbished having been lightly sanded and cleaned. There is a small amount of filler below the cheekpiece where an old dent was repaired, the stocks have subsequent handling marks and hunting bumps. Side safety is frozen, otherwise mechanics are fine.
