Made in 1968 with skeet chokes, this gun features a 26-3/8" barrel with low profile ventilated matted rib with small steel front bead. The round nose forend is checkered in five point pattern with engraved release. The butt configuration is short tang, round knob and is checkered in a three point pattern through the wrist which terminates in a Browning hard rubber butt plate. Gold plated single selective trigger, auto-ejectors, and non-auto safety. Buttstock and forearm are factory quality replacements. The coin finished receiver is engraved in typical Pointer Grade pattern featuring pointer with fallen duck on left, pointer with fallen pheasant on right, all surrounded by well cut scroll and signed by L.Lambert on left. Bottom of action with two quail surrounded by scroll engraving. Trigger guard with two pheasants surrounded by scroll. CONDITION: Excellent as partially restored. Wood is a factory quality replacement, forend is a bit stiff. Action retains nearly all of what appears to be its factory original coin finish with no evidence of any salt damage anywhere on the gun. Engraving is crisp. Mechanics are fine. A beautiful and scarce gun that is ready for many lifetimes in the field.
