Manufactured by Deutsche Waffen Und Munitionsfabriken Co. for commercial sales. This is known as the 1920 Alphabet Commercial. Features include round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "Gesichert" in the upper position, extractor marked "Geladen", center toggle link marked "DWM" in script. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 92% of the non-original applied blue finish with strawed small parts. Checkered walnut grips show some wear and are chipped under the safety lever. One of the grip screws is broken. Aftermarket side plate and take down lever. Nice World War I wood bottom magazine numbered 9165+.
