Sliding breech side by side. Mono-bloc barrels with blued finish. Straight grain walnut stock checkered in two point pattern through the wrist, with round ball grip and diamond pattern towards forend. Swamped barrel rib is fitted with a single steel bead sight and matted rib. Barrels with vine engraving at the chamber covering the mono-bloc seam, and the St. Etienne proofs on the underside of the barrel group along with a set of two Darne punch stamps indicating the grade. The frame is lightly engraved with wave border pattern and the breechblock with light scroll and floral engraving. Fitted with sling swivels and a checkered black plastic replacement buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain about 85% restored blue finish, showing scattered light spotting and minor edge wear and handling marks overall. The frame and breechblock show a gray color, with some minor staining noted. The stock is good, with the replacement buttplate a bit oversized and some hunting bumps and scratches but nothing major. Bores are good. Mechanics are fine.
