This cast iron and wood tug-of-war style strength tester is a John Papa recreation of a machine originally manufactured by Exhibit Supply Co. in 1928. Remaining true to the design of the originals with the exception of the claw footed legs, which were added for a more elegant look. Players deposit their penny near the top of the tiger's head and pull the tail to measure their strength. The dial measures the amount of strength used, and if pulled hard enough, the tiger will roar. The tiger is made of cast iron, painted in orange and black with a braided rope attached at the base to serve as his tail. To obtain the maximum strength score, patron can place their foot on the platform. In excellent working condition. This is one of only 12 made, marked with serial number 3. Includes keys and a copy of Michael Papa's book "No Tampering! - A Guide To Papa's Re-creations."

Condition: (Excellent).
