Matching numbers on frame, barrel, safety, bolt, bolt release, floorplate, trigger guard, rear sight base, and barrel bands. No import marks. Bridge is stamped "S / 147" and is dated 1936. "7.9" stamped on barrel breech. Beautiful walnut stock with steel buttplate. Waffenamt stamp on sight spring. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of the brushed military blue finish. Razor sharp markings. Wood is excellent with just the usual handling marks. Fine action. Extremely fine bore with sharp rifling. Extremely fine original Model 98k German Mauser with all matching numbers.
