Classic full stock Mannlicher Schoenauer sporting rifle chambered for the proprietary 6.5x54 MS cartridge. Fitted with claw mounted scope and double set triggers. Checkered pistol grip and fore arm with steel trap butt plate with period field takedown cleaning rod still in place. Spoon bolt handle and Steyr rotary magazine. These rifles exude the classic ideals of early 20th century European hunting rifles with the smoothest of actions and precision craftsmanship. CONDITION: Very good, with blue finish on barrel and receiver thinning and turning plum. The bore is bright with sharp lands and grooves. The action is very smooth and operates properly. The double set triggers operate sharply and consistently. The full length checkered stock has numerous small bruises and compression's and the checkering very slightly worn. The optics are clear and operate properly. This rifle has the look of a period lightly used Jaeger rifle with a long history of light use.
