Offered is a high condition Model 71 Field Grade post-war lever action rifle. Features full round barrel, half magazine, blued finish, ramp and brass bead front sight, flat top sporting rear sight, plain walnut stock, pistol grip, and steel shotgun buttplate. Lyman receiver sight mounted to left side. Typical short tang. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 95% original high polish factory blue with a few age spots. Frame retains approximately 95% original high polish blue with two or three freckles and light handling marks. Wood is excellent and proud to metal with just a few handling marks. Fine action.
