This is a true Remington A4 sniper rifle. Serial numbers have been offset to the right to allow visibility when scope is mounted. Has the proper parkerized Redfield base and 3/4" tube scope mounts with top screws. Military issue Weaver M73 blued scope. Front barrel is stamped "RA 7-43" with bomb and has never had front sight installed. Has the proper blued scooped out bolt. Features full length walnut handguard, full length Type C stock, double stock bolt, no hand groove, pressed steel small parts including bands, trigger guard and floorplate. There is a "P" at the wrist of stock. Left side of stock is stamped "FJA" Frank Atwood inspector stamp and "RA" for Raritan Arsenal. CONDITION: Frame retains 98% of its parkerized green finish, as does barrel. Wood is very good with numerous dings and handling marks. Most of the original finish is on mounts. 95% blue on scope. Two sling swivels and "US" marked rubber pad. Fine action. Shiny bore with sharp rifling. ME reading: 1. TE reading: 1.
