This is a true Remington A4 sniper rifle. Serial numbers have been offset to the right to allow visibility when scope is mounted. Has the proper parkerized Redfield base and 7/8" top mount rings. Sports the blued M84 US sniper scope. Front barrel is stamped "RA 4-43" with bomb and has never had front sight installed. Has the proper parkerized scooped out bolt. Features full length walnut handguard, full length scant stock, double stock bolt, no hand groove, pressed steel small parts including bands, trigger guard and floorplate. There is a "P" at the wrist of stock. Left side of stock is stamped "FJA" Frank Atwood inspector stamp. CONDITION: Frame retains 95% of its parkerized green finish, as does barrel. Wood is excellent with just a few dings and handling marks. Most of the original finish is on mounts. 95% blue on scope. Two sling swivels and "US" marked rubber pad. Fine action. Shiny bore with sharp rifling. ME reading: 1. TE reading: 1. Very fine, near mint World War II mid-war sniper rifle with the most desirable of the US sniper scopes.
