Paul Mossiers was a German gunsmith in Breslau in the beginning of the 19th century. We are enclosing a copy of a cover of the 1925 catalog. This beautiful pre-War sporter features octagon to round barrel, matted rib, two leaf rear sight, integral ramp front sight, Mauser action, blued finish, double set triggers, full length deluxe grade oil finish walnut stock with round knob, straight comb, small cheek piece, checkered wrist and forend, horn tip, sling swivels, and solid horn 1/2" buttplate. Maker name stamped on top of barrel rib. Has claw mounts and is topped with a Dr. Walter Gerard B3x scope. Floorplate and trigger guard have light engraving. Bridge is fine stippled. This rifle was not marked with caliber, we have sent and had it chamber cast; it is a standard 8mm Mauser and we have had the caliber stamped inside the magazine cover. CONDITION: This beautiful pre-War Mannlicher rifle is in near new condition, with just a few minor handling marks at best. Absolutely gorgeous. One of the finest Mannlicher style rifles we have ever offered. Near mint bore and action. Comes with period sling.
