Manufactured for the German military by Mauser. This is a 1936 chamber date code S/42. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "S/42", correct "(eagle) 63" Waffenamts on right side of receiver. Nickel magazine with correct matching numbered aluminum bottom. Gun retains approximately 85% of non-original applied blue finish with just a bit of high edge and holster wear and thinning straps. Good bore with sharp lands and grooves. Checkered wood grips are not numbered. Comes in a pigskin DLU WaA641 holster with non-matching extra magazine. The hinge has been ripped all the way across the holster.
