This is serial number 3. It is a reproduction of a Model 1911 US Army. Features brushed blue finish, beveled edge U notch rear sight, checkered wide spur hammer, checkered slide stop and safety, long smooth trigger, flat mainspring housing with loop, and diamond checkered walnut grips. Left side of frame has "JMG" John Gilbert inspector stamp. Left side of frame stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". 1913 patent date on left side of slide with pony at rear. Right side of slide stamped "MODEL OF 1911 US ARMY". CONDITION: Near new with some dried grease on top of slide; in box with paperwork and accessories.
