All steel and brass construction Albanian migulet rifle. Octagonal barrel with flared muzzle. Marked on top of the barrel "LAZOBI COMINAZI". Brass barrel bands and plates on the sides of the butt. The rear band is most likely a contemporary replacement and could be made of copper, the two front bands are plain, the rear middle band is engraved. Missing the trigger guard. Thin iron ramrod. Small circular decorations in the stock. Engraving on the metal stock. Made in the early to mid-1800's. Lock screws appear to be old replacements. CONDITION: The metal retains a pleasing patina overall with some areas of light surface rust. The lock is not in working order. GR
