Half round, half octagon "buck and ball" with origins tied to possibly either Kuntz or Young of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Converted to percussion Ketland lock with shaped turned tail trigger. Lehigh style brass furniture and sights. Lehigh profile curly maple stock with back to back incised "C" scroll carving behind cheek and checkered pattern at wrist. Hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned to a silvery patina exposing some pitting around the breech. Barrel has probably been shortened 3" to 4" when converted to percussion. Brass toeplate is missing a piece at buttplate. Wood has stress cracks near end of forestock but looks to have retained some of the original finish. Lock functions fine. A gun well worth restoring.
